SIOUX FALLS, SD - The Sioux Falls Storm (3-1) travel to Grand Island to face the Nebraska Danger (4-1) for a week seven showdown where kickoff is set for 7:00 pm.
The Sioux Falls Storm last played on March 24 when they defeated the Green Bay Blizzard 39-23. In that game, Storm quarterback Lorenzo Brown completed eight out of 15 passes for 93 yards and two touchdowns along with two rushing touchdowns. Storm running back Lyle McCombs had 44 rushing yards on 10 attempts. Wide Receivers Mike Tatum and Judd Harrold each tallied one touchdown. Defensive lineman Owen Williams had two sacks while Chris Martin blocked one field goal. Defensive back Jabari Gorman lead the defense with seven solo tackles.
The Nebraska Danger look to extend a one-game win streak after beating the Iowa Barnstormers 43-32 on March 30th. In that game, quarterback Jesse Scroggins II completed nine of 18 attempts for four touchdowns and had 36 rushing yards. Running back Angelo Pease ran for 27 yards on 11 attempts. Wide receivers Eric Thomas had 68 yards and three touchdowns while Kenzel Doe had 64 yards and one touchdown. The defense had 46 total tackles, two sacks, five tackles for loss, one forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and two pass breakups.
