TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Storm has acquired offensive lineman Tyler Moore announced Storm Vice President of Football Operations Jeff Gooch.
"Tyler is a big body that will be able to help us make plays on the offensive side of the ball," said Gooch. "Protecting the quarterback is a top priority for this team, and we believe that Tyler will be able to step in and make an impact."
Moore (6-foot-6, 325 lbs., Florida) enters his rookie season in the Arena Football League with the Storm. The Countryside H.S. (Clearwater, FL) product played collegiately at Nebraska his freshmen year. Moore started in 4-of-9 game for the Huskers before transferring to Florida, where he started in 14-of-19 games played for the Gators.
Coming out of high School, Moore was rated as one of the top offensive line products in the country. He helped lead the Cougars to a 12-1 record and a trip to the regional finals in his senior season.
The team reassigned fullback Garrison Ushery.
The Five-Time World Champion Tampa Bay Storm is in its 28th season in the Arena Football League.
