
Soul Hold Town Takeover with Edgewater Park on June 4

PHILADELPHIA (June 2, 2015)- The Philadelphia Soul will host a Town Takeover in Edgewater Park on Thursday, June 4 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The Town Takeover, will take place at Weiman Field located at 400 Delanco Rd, Edgewater Park, NJ before their game against the New Orleans VooDoo on Saturday, June 6 at 6 p.m.
During the practice, kids will be asked to participate by "running plays" with the Soul team. This will be the team's last practice before the Soul (9-1) host the New Orleans VooDoo (2-8) at the Wells Fargo Center.
"We are excited to be returning to Edgewater Park, they are such a supportive community and we are looking forward to interacting with them again," said John Adams, COO of the Soul.
In addition to Soul players and coaches, there will be appearances by the Soul mascot, SoulMan, the Soulmates dance team, Soul ownership, and front office staff. After the practice, fans will be able to meet Soul players and Soulmates who will be signing autographs. Tickets for the EPAA Flag Football Championships on June 6 at the Wells Fargo Center will be available.
The next Soul game will be held against the New Orleans VooDoo with a 6 p.m. kick-off on June 6.
