Sioux Falls Storm News Release


- With a win over the Greyhounds, Sioux Falls will clinch the #1 seed in the Western Conference and host games in the first two rounds of the UIF Playoffs.

- This is the first time that Ohio Valley has visited Sioux Falls. The Storm and Greyhounds have been in leagues together since the inception of the Storm in 2001. The Greyhounds and Storm have only played once with the Storm leaving Wheeling with a 51-24 victory.

- With 93 passing yards, Terrance Bryant will surpass the 6,000 passing yardage mark for his Storm career. Bryant has passed for an amazing 5,907 yards in 38 regular season games for the Storm.

- Storm running back Marques Smith could break the team's single season record for most points scored in a season. Smith has scored 25 TD's good for 150 points this season. The record is currently held by Adam Hicks, who scored 157 points in 2004.

- With one more receiving TD, James Terry will move into a tie for 4th on the single season receiving TD list. Terry currently has 13 receiving TD's this season. He will move into a tie with Casey Veenhof (14 in 2006) and Kalen DeBoer (14 in 2001).

- Despite their record, the Greyhounds have lost three games by seven points or less. The Greyhounds are also only a -1 in turnover differential. Ohio Valley is allowing the most points per game in the league at 47.8, while the Storm are allowing a league best 255.9 ppg.
