Storm Prepare for Second Round with Rattlers

SIOUX FALLS, SD - The Sioux Falls Storm will face the Arizona Rattlers for the second time in 2021 on Saturday, July 24 at 8:05 PM. This game features a matchup between the #1 ranked Rattlers and #5 ranked Storm.

The Storm look to get a second consecutive win after defeating the Green Bay Blizzard last week while the Rattlers look to get back in the win column after losing 44-68 to the Massachusetts Pirates.

The Storm last faced the Rattlers on May 22nd where the Storm won 50-46. In that game, quarterback Lorenzo Brown completed 15 of 23 passes for 189 yards and one touchdown along with 37 rushing yards. Running back Nate Chavious had 33 rushing yards. Wide receivers JoJo Gause had 96 reception yards and three touchdowns, Brandon Sheperd had 27 reception yards and one touchdown, Damian Ford had eight reception yards and one touchdown along with 45 rushing yards and Alonzo Moore had 30 reception yards. Linebacker Marquis Hendrix led the Thunder Defense with 10 total tackles and 0.5 tackle for loss. Defensive back Solomon St. Pierre had one pass break-up.
