
Storm Prepare For Last Regular Season Home Game

Sioux Falls, SD - The Sioux Falls Storm (13-1) will host the Iowa Barnstormers (4-9) in the Storm's last regular season home game.
The Sioux Falls Storm clinched the top overall seed and earned a first round bye after defeating the Colorado Crush on June 4th. In that game, quarterback Lorenzo Brown completed ten passes for 141 yards and four touchdowns. He also tallied 62 rushing yards and one touchdown. Korey Williams garnered 107 rushing yards and five touchdowns, as well as 26 receiving yards and one touchdown. Wide receiver, Caleb Holley, caught two passes for 60 yards and scored two touchdowns. Wide receiver, Marcus Beaurem caught two passes for 23 yards and scored one touchdown. Elijah Fields and Tyler Knight led the Thunder Defense with 12 tackles. Carlton Watkins accumulated ten tackles and three pass break-ups. Brandon Peguese and Tyler Knight both had one sack and J'vontez Blackmon had one interception.
For the Barnstormers, the team is looking to redeem themselves after a 23-46 loss against the Cedar Rapids Titans. Barnstormer's quarterback, Travis Partridge threw for 195 yards while completing 17 of 31 of his passes, throwing two touchdowns. Partridge also rushed for 21 yards and one touchdown on five attempts. Brady Roland finished the game with 130 yards off of nine receptions while collecting one touchdown. Lucas Hefty ended with 42 yards off of three receptions while scoring one touchdown. The Barnstormer's defense tallied 37 tackles, one sack, one interception, three pass break-ups and one block.
