
Storm Prepare For Battle Against Titans

SIOUX FALLS, SD - The Sioux Falls Storm (7-3) will face off against the Cedar Rapids (1-9) on Friday, May 18 at 7:05pm. This will be the third match-up between the teams this season.
The Storm look for their second win in a row after winning a close one at home against the Nebraska Danger. The Storm won verse the Danger 40-36 on Saturday, May 12. In that game, Storm quarterback Lorenzo Brown completed 15 out of 21 passes while throwing 156 yards and three touchdowns, he also had 50 rushing yards. Running back Lyle McCombs had 39 yards and one touchdown. Wide receivers Judd Harrold reeled in three receptions for 50 yards and one touchdown while Damien Ford had two touchdowns and 28 reception yards. Defensive backs Lorenzo White had six tackles, one forced fumble and one interception and Jabari Gorman had four pass break-ups.
The Titans look to snap an eight-game losing streak. The Titans faced the Barnstormers on Friday, May 11 where the Titans lost 48-21. In that game, quarterback Jake Medlock threw for 67 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions while rushing for 23 yards. Running back Raphael Lawson-Gayle had 22 rushing yards. Wide receivers Javon Bell had 46 yards and one touchdown while Marquel Wade had 11 yards and one touchdown. The Titans defense tallied 59 tackles, three tackles for loss, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, one interception and one pass break-up.
