SIOUX FALLS, SD - The Sioux Falls Storm (10-2) will head to Des Moines, IA to face the Iowa Barnstormers (11-1) in a game with playoff implications on the line. Kickoff is set for 7:05 PM on Saturday, June 8.
The Storm last played the Barnstormers on April 20th where the Storm won 36-32. In that game, quarterback Lorenzo Brown completed nine passes for 81 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. He also had 61 rushing yards and one touchdown. Running back Calen Campbell had 23 rushing yards and one touchdown. Wide receiver Brandon Sheperd 32 receiving yards and one touchdown along with one rushing touchdown. Wide receiver Kent Shelby had 18 receiving yards and one touchdown. Kicker Parker Douglass made one field goal and three extra points. Defensive backs Tre Dickerson and Rick Rumph lead the Thunder Defense with seven tackles. Defensive back Rick Rumph had two fumble recoveries and two pass break-ups. Defensive back Trey Wafford had two tackles for loss and one forced fumble. Defensive linemen Claude Davis tallied six tackles, one sack, two tackles for loss and one pass break-up while Charles Williams had one block.
