
Storm Place DesRoches on Injured Reserve

(Charlottetown, PE) The Island STORM announced today they have placed 6'4" forward Alex DesRoches on the team's injured reserve list. DesRoches suffered an upper body injury during the STORMS last game in Halifax on January 18th at Scotiabank Centre. DesRoches is expected to be out from 2-4 weeks. DesRoches joins Mike Williams on the teams IR.
The STORM host the Moncton Miracles this Sunday at Eastlink Centre in Charlottetown at 2pm. The STORM currently lead the Atlantic Division of the NBL Canada with a 15-7 record, also good for first place overall in the league, tied with the Windsor Express who the STORM beat in overtime January 16th at Eastlink.
This Sundays home game for the STORM is "Show the Bow" where Fans are asked to wear a bow tie to the game.
