Storm Part Ways With All-Time Leading Receiver

The Sioux Falls Storm has traded the rights to Storm veteran receiver James Terry and defensive back Javon Jackson with the Cedar Rapids Titans for defensive end Jeremiah Price and defensive back Marciele Surrell.

"On the field, JT has been the best receiver in all of indoor football," said Storm Owner Todd Tryon. "His numbers speak for themselves. Off the field, we continue to strive toward a team first atmosphere. This was a tough move trading both of these great talents, but we feel it was a move that was best for our program. Price is arguably one of the best up and coming defensive ends in the IFL, and Surrell is a promising young rookie. We wish JT and Javon nothing but the best."

Jeremiah Price joins the Storm after a standout 2011 season with the Green Bay Blizzard. The 6'2" 255lb defensive end accounted for 55 tackles, 12.5 sacks, 4 forced fumbles and 4 pass breakups in his second season with the Blizzard. The explosive lineman is an Oklahoma State University Alumni, where he was a three year letter winner.

Marciele Surrell joins the Storm from Northwest Missouri State where he earned a National Championship in 2009. The defensive back accounted for 54 tackles, 2 interceptions, 5 pass breakups and 1 fumble in his 2010 season with the Bearcats.
