Storm Looking for Big Fan Support Thursday Night vs Rainmen

(Charlottetown, PEI) After 31 games, 124 quarters (plus some extras), and 1,488 minutes it comes down to just one game for the regular season Atlantic Division Title of the NBL Canada and home court advantage for the first two rounds of the playoffs. For fans, it just doesn't get any better than this.

Thursday night at 7pm the Island STORM host the Halifax Rainmen at Eastlink Centre and the winner pockets the Atlantic Division and the playoff perks that come with it.

There is not much to choose between the two teams as they have played 7 times so far this season. The teams split their games at Scotiabank Centre in Halifax while the STORM have won 2 of 3 at Eastlink Centre. The STORM have scored 743 points against the Rainmen this season while the Rainmen have scored 730 against the STORM, a difference of just 13 points over 7 games.

Going into Thursday nights game the STORM have one big advantage, their Fans. STORM Fans have been terrific again this season providing an exciting atmosphere at Eastlink Centre that STORM players love to play in.

And now the call is out to all STORM Fans to come out to Eastlink Centre Thursday night at 7 o'clock to be the 13th person at the end of the STORM bench and help cheer on the STORM against the Halifax Rainmen for what essentially is......a playoff game.
