Guelph Storm News Release

The Guelph Storm is pleased to introduce "Doughty's Den", a luxury suite at the Sleeman Centre purchased by former Storm and current LA Kings defenceman Drew Doughty. Beginning in September, the suite will be donated on a game to game basis to local not-for-profit and/or youth organizations.

"I had a great time playing in Guelph and owe a lot to the city and the fans," Doughty explained. "I just felt it was time to give back and say thank you to the place that helped me get where I am today. With Doughty's Den, I hope I can accomplish that."

Drew purchased the suite in hopes of giving many underprivileged residents from Guelph and surrounding areas the opportunity to enjoy a regular season or playoff game.

Decorated with Doughty paraphernalia from both his OHL and NHL career, 'Doughty's Den' will be a once in a lifetime experience for the many that attend.
