
Storm Host Blizzard In Regular Season Finale

SIOUX FALLS, SD - The Sioux Falls Storm (10-3) hosts the Green Bay Blizzard (2-11) on Saturday, June 16th at 7:05pm in a week 17 battle.
This game is presented by Dakotaland Autoglass. The team's annual Salute to Military Night will host many activities in-and-around the game that honors local veterans and active duty members of the military. Military personnel (active or retired) receive a free ticket and can purchase unlimited $5 for friends and family at the Premier Center Box Office. Storm game worn jerseys will be raffled off and given away after the game to help support the Paralyzed Veterans of America North Central Chapter. In addition, the Storm will host a special Silent Auction of National Sports Memorabilia items and local gift donated by area businesses.
The Sioux Falls Storm look to extend a four game win streak this week against the Blizzard. Sioux Falls defeated the Iowa Barnstormers 51-49 last week. In that game, Storm quarterback Lorenzo Brown completed 16 out of his 28 passing attempts while throwing for 259 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions. Brown also had 32 rushing yards and three touchdowns. Wide Receivers Damien Ford had 165 yards with two touchdowns and Judd Harrold had 63 yards and one touchdown. Kicker Miles Bergner was perfect on the night, hitting one field goal and four extra points. Linebacker Dezmin Reed led the defense with 11 total tackles. Defensive back Trey Wafford had one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
The Blizzard look to snap a three-game losing streak. The Blizzard were defeated by the Cedar Rapids Titans 34-27 on June 9th. In that game, quarterback Bryan Hicks threw for 117 yards one touchdown and one interception while completing 9 out of 20 attempts, he also had two fumbles. Running back Serge Trezy rushed four times for 24 yards. Wide receivers Jereme Jones had four rushes for 51 yards and one touchdown and Kezlow Smith had four rushing attempts for 27 yards and one touchdown while Levi Copelin had two receptions for 13 yards and one touchdown. On the defensive side of the ball, the Blizzard had 47 tackles, one tackle for loss, one sack, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, one interception, two pass break-ups and one block.
