SIOUX FALLS, SD - The Sioux Falls Storm fall to 10-3 after a 55-43 defeat by the Iowa Barnstormers on Saturday, June 8 in Des Moines, IA.
The Barnstormers would begin the game with a 13-0 lead after scoring on back to back drives; the first touchdown was a 13-yard rushing touchdown by Daquan Neal and then a 30-yard touchdown pass by Daquan Neal to Ryan Balentine. The Storm would end the quarter with 40-yard touchdown pass by Lorenzo Brown to Damian Ford to bring the score to 13-6.
The Barnstormers extended their lead to 20-6 to start the second quarter after a five-yard touchdown pass Daquan Neal to Connor Hollenbeck. The Storm answered with a six-yard rushing touchdown by Calen Campbell to bring the score to 20-13. The Barnstormers would go up 27-13 after a 26-yard touchdown pass by Daquan Neal to Jazeric Peterson. The Storm ended the half with a 27-23 deficit after scoring on back to back drives; the first was a 25-yard rushing touchdown by Lorenzo Brown and then a 24-yard field goal by Parker Douglass.
The Barnstormers extended their lead to 34-23 to start the third quarter after a 29-yard touchdown pass Daquan Neal to Connor Hollenbeck. The Storm answered with a seven-yard rushing touchdown by Lorenzo Brown to cut the lead to 34-30. The Barnstormers ended the quarter with a 41-30 lead after a 35-yard rushing touchdown by Daquan Neal.
The Storm cut the lead to 41-37 to start the fourth quarter after a 14-yard rushing touchdown by Lorenzo Brown. The Barnstormers extended their lead to 55-37 after back to back touchdowns; the first was a six-yard touchdown pass by Daquan Neal to Ryan Balentine and then a nine-yard touchdown pass by Daquan Neal to Jazeric Peterson. The Storm answered with a 25-yard rushing touchdown by Lorenzo Brown to end the game and bring the final score to 55-43.
Quarterback Lorenzo Brown completed 13 passes for 151 yards and one touchdown along with two interceptions. Brown also had 110 rushing yards and four touchdowns. Running back Calen Campbell had six rushing yards for one touchdown and 15 receiving yards. Wide receivers Damian Ford had 62 yards and one touchdown, Kent Shelby had 44 yards and Brandon Sheperd had 30 yards. Kicker Parker Douglass made one field goal and four extra points. Defensive lineman Charles Williams lead the Thunder Defense with nine tackles, one tackle for loss and one pass break-up. Defensive back Trey Wafford had eight tackles and one tackle for loss. Linebacker T.J. Neal had seven tackles.

Deadline to reserve your season ticket seats is June 12th at 4:00 PM. Once purchased, your playoff tickets will be available for pickup at the last regular season home game on June 15th at the Denny Sanford Premier Center. Tickets will be ready at the Fan Information table located in the front lobby. Playoff tickets will go on sale to the public starting at 10:00 AM on June 17th at the Premier Center Box Office or ticketmaster.com.
The Sioux Falls Storm will finish the 2019 regular season on Saturday, June 15 against the Bismarck Bucks. Kickoff is set for 7:05 PM at the Denny Sanford Premier Center.
