Island Storm News Release
(Charlottetown, PE) It was their last road trip of the regular season but it didn't end how the STORM wanted it to as they dropped a 111-106 decision to the Saint John Mill Rats at Harbour Station Thursday night.
It was a game that featured many lead changes as the STORM led by 3 at halftime but ended tied at 73 at the end of the third quarter. Saint John scored 34 points from STORM turnovers which looked to be the difference in the game.
The STORM were led by Nick Okorie who scored 21 points, many of those points in bunches to get the STORM tied or back into the lead in the second half. Sammy Zeglinski scored 14 to go with 6 rebounds, Brandon Robinson 13 points and 6 assists, will Nick Evans scored 12 to go with 8 rebounds.
Anthony Anderson, back after being out with an injury for a number of games, scored 16 for the Mill rats with Kenny Jones and Alex Johnson each scored 15.
The Island STORM now play 4 home games at Eastlink Centre in Charlottetown to end the regular season. The first of those 4 comes up Monday afternoon, Islander Day, when the London Lightning visit Eastlink for a 2 pm contest.
