Sioux Falls Storm News Release
Sioux Falls, SD- The Sioux Falls Storm (4-0) will host the Colorado Ice (2-2) in a week seven battle. Waterbury Heating & Cooling and Coleman Heating & Air Conditioning are the sponsors for Saturday's game.
Kick-off is set for 7:05pm at the Storm Shelter, the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center. Be sure to arrive early because the first 1,000 kids 12 and under will receive a free Storm replica jersey. Thanks to our wonderful sponsors at Waterbury Heating & Cooling and Coleman Heating & Air Conditioning.
The Storm defeated the Billings Wolves, 56-41 before having a bye weekend for Easter. In the last action game they played, Harrison finished the game with 93 yards on 20 carries and two touchdowns. Storm quarterback, Martevious Young, threw one touchdown, and rushed for one. Judd Harrold finished the game with four receptions for 35 yards and one touchdown.
For the Ice, the team is looking to build on its one game-winning streak after a 69-34 win against the Billings Wolves. In that game, Brand Mitchell threw for 270 yards and rushed for 78 yards, six passing touchdowns and three rushing touchdowns. Kyle Kaiser had 110 receiving yards with three touchdowns. While Darnell Evans had 12 total tackles and two interceptions.
This game looks to be a fast-paced game with an intense defensive fight. Both sides of the ball will be very competitive with a high scoring end.
