The Sioux Falls Storm is pleased to announce the signing of nose guard Michael Landry for the remainder of the 2011 season.

Landry is a 6'4", 300 lbs. graduate of Southern University and most recently played for the Kansas City Command of the Arena Football League 1. Landry left the Outlaws in 2009 to join the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League, where he recorded eight tackles. He played all of the 2010 for the Calgary Stampeders, also of the CFL.

Before playing in the IFL, Landry served on the practice squads of the Kansas City Chiefs and Green Bay Packers from 2002-2004. Landry was active with the San Francisco 49ers in 2004. He also spent a season with the Scottish Claymores of the NFL Europe in 2003 accounting for 7.5 sacks and was named to the ALL NFL Europe Team.

"Championships are won upfront", said Storm Owner, Todd Tryon. "Mike is a game changer that instantly makes us better."
