
Storm Add Two Quarterbacks

SIOUX FALLS, SD - The Sioux Falls Storm are excited to announce the addition of quarterbacks Tra'Von Chapman and Michael Whitley for the 2019 campaign.
Chapman (6'1, 205) will be entering his rookie season with the Storm. Tra'Von played three seasons at the University of Akron as a wide receiver and quarterback where he earned a Third-Team All-Mid-American Conference (MAC) selection.
Whitley (5'11, 195) joins the Storm for his rookie season as a member of the Indoor Football League. Michael played collegiately at Lakeland University where he was a two-time Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Offensive Player of the Year after compiling 7,404 total yards, 6,101 passing yards and and 59 passing touchdowns.
"Chapman and Whitley add two QB's that are multi-dimensional and extremely athletic," said Head Coach Kurtiss Riggs. "These are the types of QB that the game has evolved around in most recent years."
