
Stone Crabs Host Fan Appreciation Weekend

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - The Charlotte Stone Crabs will host a three-game series against the Bradenton Marauders (Pittsburgh Pirates) starting on Friday, September 3 at Charlotte Sports Park that will include giveaways throughout the entire weekend and the final fireworks show of the season on Saturday night.
Fan Appreciation Weekend begins on Friday, September 3 as the Stone Crabs play the series opener against the division rival Marauders. Giveaways during the game will include gift cards from local restaurants and stores, merchandise from the Team Store, autographed memorabilia and more. Gates open at 6:00 p.m. and first pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
The series continues with Fan Appreciation Night on Saturday, September 4 with gates opening at 6:00 p.m. Random giveaways will take place throughout the night, and a special, end-of-season fireworks show will fill the sky after the game ends. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
The final game of the 2010 regular season will take place on Sunday, September 5 at 5:35 p.m. The Marauders currently lead the FSL South Division by three games in the second half with a week remaining, so the matchup is a possible playoff preview. After winning the first half, the Stone Crabs guaranteed themselves a spot in the playoffs and will play Game 1 of the FSL Division Series on Tuesday, September 8.
