CHESTER, Pa. - Philadelphia Union II played New York Red Bulls II on Sunday night at Subaru Park, winning 2-1. With the win, Union II jumps to sixth place in the Eastern Conference with 27 points. Union II took the lead early in the game in the fourth minute when forward Stefan Stojanovic scored a goal from outside the box. New York tied the score in the 80th minute, after a foul in the box granted a penalty kick. Forward Luciano Sanchez scored the game winner in the 84th minute to secure all three points. Union II are now unbeaten in four consecutive matches.
Philadelphia Union II are back on the road on Monday, July 24 (7:00 p.m. / Apple TV) where they take on Columbus Crew 2 at Historic Crew Stadium.
