
Stingers 2024 Schedule Announced

(Edmonton) - The Edmonton Stingers of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) have announced its 2024 schedule. The 20 game schedule features 10 home matches at the Edmonton EXPO Centre this summer.
The Stingers home opener will tip-off on Sunday June 2nd at 4:00 p.m. against the Saskatchewan Rattlers at the Edmonton EXPOCentre. It will be the first of 3-straight home games for the Stingers, as they take the court June 4th and 9th against the Vancouver Bandits and the Niagara River Lions.
A Canada Day game with a family fun focus for fans will feature the Stingers and the Rattlers at the EXPO Centre on Monday July 1st, tipping-off at 4:00 p.m.
The Battle of Alberta will take over the EXPO Centre on June 23rd and July 9th as the Stingers host the Calgary Surge both nights. The Stingers final game of the season will come on July 29th in a home game against the Winnipeg Sea Bears.
The Stingers will play their road season opener at the Scotiabank Saddledome on Tuesday, May 21st against their provincial rivals the Calgary Surge.
CEBL Playoffs will return as a single elimination knockout tournament, with 4 teams from each Conference receiving playoff berths. Championship Weekend is set for August 9th -11th in Montreal, with the Alliance receiving a bye to the semi-finals alongside the top Western Conference Team. With a 2nd or 3rd place Western Conference finish, the Stingers would host a playoff game at the EXPO Centre in early August.
Select CEBL games will be nationally televised on TSN, with the schedule to be announced at a later date. All CEBL games including playoffs will be live-streamed on TSN_+ and CEBL+ , the league's OTT platform.
