Miami Sting News Release

ERIE, PA - (12/20/12) When the UIFL season officially kicks off on Feb 15th 2012 the Western PA Sting will be playing Super Mario, just not the one you may be thinking of. Multi talented "Super" Mario Henry has agreed to terms with the Western PA Sting for the 2012 season. A graduate of Strong Vincent High School (Erie,PA) and the University of Buffalo, Mario brings to the indoor game the ability to excel at several positions. While at the University of Buffalo, Mario was a four year letter winner and starter for the Bulls. Mario started at DB as a true freshman before switching to running back for the remainder of his college career. He ran for over 1000 yards in his career while sharing the backfield with current Green Bay Packer James Starks.

Mario adds a dimension to the playbook that has head coach Paul Pennington very excited. "Mario is an extremely talented player who has helped lead every team he has been associated with to championship seasons. His combination of strength, speed and athletic ability allow us to have a fourth receiver on the field while also having the blocking of a fourth lineman. Plus he can play defensive back as well; he truly is "Super."
