
Sting Sign Former NFL Linebacker

The Miami Sting announces the signing of Curtis Johnson, a 6'3" 240 lb outside linebacker. Johnson played three years in the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys, Indianapolis Colts and St Louis Rams. Johnson was born in Lauderhill Florida but grew up and attended High School in New York. He attended Clark College in Atlanta where he earned All -America accolades. In 2008, Johnson was signed by the Indianapolis Colts. Most recently Johnson played for the Toronto Argonauts of the CFL.
Johnson currently resides in the Miami area where works as a school teacher. He joins an impressive roster that is expected to win the championship in the team's first season. The Miami Sting kickoff on March 1st, 2013 at the BankUnited Center, University of Miami as they host Texas.
The Miami Sting are searching for talent to represent South Florida. An open tryout is scheduled for Jan6, 2013 at Dr. Michael M. Krop High School at 9:00 am. Tryout fee is $60.00 day of or $45 for pre-registered players.
