
Sting 2005 WNBA draft advisory

Charlotte Sting News Release
WHAT: The Charlotte Sting hold the #1 pick in the 2005 WNBA Draft, which begins at Noon on Saturday, April 16. ESPN 2 will televise the first round while NBA TV will televise the second and third rounds.
WHO: Sting GM/Head Coach Trudi Lacey and her staff will be making the selections from Sting Draft Central at the Hive Drive offices, while the players are gathered at the NBA Studios in Secaucus, NJ.
All fans are invited to a fan fest to watch the draft unfold with Sting players Kelly Mazzante, Tammy Sutton-Brown, Jia Perkins and Tangela Smith beginning at 11 a.m. The festivities will be held in the Charlotte Coliseum's Orange Parking Lot prior to the Bobcats game, which tips-off at 1 p.m.
