
SteelHounds Waive Five Players in Preparation for Home Opener

YOUNGSTOWN, OHIO - Youngstown SteelHounds Head Coach Kevin Kaminski announced today that the team has waived five players in an effort to reduce the roster for the home opener to a league maximum 18 players.
The following players have been waived by the SteelHounds:
Goaltender - Jeremy Symington
Defenseman - Mark Lindsay
Forward - Sam Miller
Forward - Dan Buccella
Forward - Jeff Valdes
The Hounds are currently sitting in first place in the Northeast Division with a 2-0 record and will face the Rocky Mountain Rage in their home opener at the Chevrolet Centre on Friday, October 27th. Face-off is scheduled for 7:05 PM.
