Morning skate will be held at approximately 10:15am on game days. Media availability will be held immediately following all practices and morning skates.
Boise, ID- The Steelheads took seven of eight-games during their longest road trip of the season, and now they return to CenturyLink Arena to kick off a five-game home stand with contests against the Cincinnati Cyclones on Friday and Saturday night. The Steelheads have not met with the Cyclones since the 2010 Kelly Cup Finals, but Idaho is 2-1-0 all-time against Cincinnati in the regular season.
Player Notes:
- F Brian Nugent has notched two-goal games in two of his last four outings, and he has five goals and seven points in his last seven games.
- F Will Merchant is second among rookies with 11 power play goals.
- F Jefferson Dahl has a goal and five points in his last five games.
- F Rob Linsmayer has three goals and seven points in his last five games
- F Anthony Luciani has seven goals and 12 points in his last 13 games.
- F Kellan Lain has four goals and 10 points in his last 11 games.
- D Joe Faust's goal on Friday was his 13th of the season, tying the Steelheads' single-season ECHL record for goals by a defenseman.
- G Landon Bow has recorded two 1-0 shutouts in his last four starts.
Team Notes:
- The Steelheads have won four in a row, and went 7-1-0 during a season-long eight-game road trip.
- Id aho has won nine of its last 11 games.
- The Steelheads have earned sweeps in two of their last three series.
- The Steelheads overcame one-goal third period deficits in each of their last two games to win. They are 12-12-4 in games in which they surrender the first goal.
- The Steelheads and Toledo Walleye are the only teams in the ECHL ranked in the top-5 in power play and penalty killing.
- The Steelheads are 16-10-4 on the road this season, their new high-water mark for the season.
- Idaho is now 23-15-6 vs the Mountain Division
