
Steeldogs Now Play at "Farmers Insurance Field"

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Saturday night is the debut of "Farmers Insurance Field" at the BJCC Arena.
The national insurance company has purchased the naming rights to the Steeldogs playing surface for the 2006 season. They are among a handful of sponsors across the country that has teamed up with af2 teams to purchase field naming rights.
During the 2006 season, any time the Steeldogs and the BJCC Arena are mentioned, whether in print or broadcast, so will Farmers Insurance Field.
The Steeldogs begin play on Farmers Insurance Field at the BJCC Arena on Saturday, April 8 at 7 p.m. versus the Everett Hawks. The first 2,000 fans in attendance will receive a free magnetic schedule courtesy of Pizza Hut.
