
Steamers trade defender Sinisa Alebic to Milwaukee

St. Louis, MO, February 10, 2005 -St. Louis Steamers Team President Michael Hetelson, announced today that the team has traded defender Sinisa Alebic to Milwaukee in exchange for the rights to midfielder Martin Dugas and cash considerations.
Dugas, 33, appeared in 23 games last season with the Dallas Sidekicks, collecting 24 points (10 goals, 14 assists). He was Milwaukee's first round selection, ninth overall in the Dallas Sidekicks dispersal draft, held in September.
The 6'2'', 185-pound midfielder has amassed 425 career points (258 goals, 193 assists) in 258 career games. The St. Catherine, Ontario native has played with Edmonton, Detroit, Milwaukee and Dallas over his eight-year career.
Alebic, 35, played in 30 games for the Dallas Sidekicks last season, recording 12 points (eight goals, four assists). He was St. Louis' second selection in round one, fourth overall, in the Sidekicks dispersal draft.
