Steamers Announce Radio Coverage Of Games For 2005-06 Season

ST. LOUIS - St. Louis Steamers CEO Michael Hetelson announced today that for the second consecutive season, KFNS 590-AM will be the Official Home and Flagship Station for the team's radio broadcasts.

Hetelson said that all 30 of the team's home and road games will be broadcast via radio and webcast on KFNS 590-AM or sister station KRFT 1190-AM. The majority of this season's games will be on KFNS with a few games on KRFT. Specific station scheduling (KFNS or KRFT) of each game will be posted on the Steamers' official web site, www.stlsteamers.com.

"We're thrilled to continue to bring our fans coverage of Steamers games through our broadcast partnership with KFNS," Hetelson said.

Evan Crocker, KFNS vice president and general manager said, "We are excited to be continuing our partnership with the St. Louis Steamers. The Steamers schedule will add even more excitement to our programming and continue our goal to provide more local play by play to the St. Louis sports community."

The broadcast team of Bob Ramsey, Bill McDermott, Tony Hubert, Rick Wallace and Joe Pelusi will return on a rotating basis.

The Steamers open their home schedule at Savvis Center this Saturday, November 26 at 1:05 p.m. against the Philadelphia Kixx.
