Wichita, Kan. - The Wichita Stealth have announced today that they have added former Kansas State University athlete, Anna Whitham to their sales staff. During the summer of 2003, Whitham was an intern with the Wichita Wranglers.
While at Kansas State University, Whitham earned a bachelors degree in marketing and political science and a master's degree in business administration. Not only did she excel in the classroom, but in track and field as well. She garnered All-American honors in the javelin, hammer throw, and weight throws. She was also named to the All-American farm team.
Whitham will be responsible for selling corporate sponsorships, season tickets, individual game tickets and group tickets during the 2004 season.
Whitham is originally from Leoti, Kansas where she attended Wichita County High School. She was a high school state champion in the javelin and also participated in basketball, volleyball, and scholars bowl.
Season tickets are available by calling the Stealth ticket sales representatives at 316.755.3307 or by emailing Anna at awhitham@wichitastealth.com. Fans can secure the same great seats for all eight home games during the 2004 season for as little as $80. The Stealth will kickoff their fourth season in April 2004.
