Wichita, KS.¾The Wichita Stealth, straight off a victory over the Fresno Frenzy, has added another game to their schedule. They will participate in one of their most important games of the season Tuesday, June 11th, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. Their opponents are the YESS Program. The Youth Education Summer Socialization program gives children with developmental disabilities and mental handicaps the necessary care needed for special kids with special needs.
This is the second year that the Wichita Stealth and the YESS program have worked together. "The kids had such a great time last year," said Stealth General Manager Mike McCoy. "Our players love the opportunity to spend some time with these kids. They probably have as much fun as the kids do."
The Wichita Stealth is home for the second week in a row, but before they play against the Louisville Fire they will share the field with the extraordinary children from the YESS program. The game will be at the Kansas Coliseum at 2:00 p.m.
