Stealth Announce Training Camp Dates

Vancouver, BC-The Vancouver Stealth have released the dates for their 2016/2017 training camp. The team will officially open main camp on November 19 th and it will run until December 31st. The first day of camp will open with a two-a-day on Saturday November 19th as the 40-member team will take the floor from 9am-11am and again later in the evening from 6pm-8pm. The following day the team will hit the floor from 9am-11am. The schedule will repeat again on the weekends of December 3-4 and 10-11. Roster Cut Down Day will take place on Thursday, December 15, 2016 where the team will be reduced to 20 active roster players and 4 players on the team's practice roster. Practice on Sunday, December 18 will be from 9-11am. The team will conclude their pre-season sessions on the weekend of December 30-31 with dates and times pending. "We are looking forward to a fast-paced highly competitive camp where we will be evaluating every position," says Stealth Head Coach Jamie Batley. "Our team will play an extremely up tempo style and we need to identify players who can play at that pace." All the sessions will take place at the Langley Events Centre's Fieldhouse and will be open and free to the public. The Stealth will host two pre-season scrimmages including against the Calgary Roughnecks on December 3, 2016 at 7:00pm and against the NLL Champions Saskatchewan Rush at 9:00am on December 4, 2016.

In addition to the two Stealth friendlies, the Langley Events Centre will play host to two other scrimmages over the same weekend with Saskatchewan taking on Colorado and the Roughnecks competing against the Mammoth. For more information, visit StealthLAX.com.
