The Rochester Knighthawks announced their training camp schedule today, which kicks off the weekend of Nov. 26-27 at Total Sports Experience in East Rochester (435 West Commercial Street).

The Knighthawks will hold their first day of camp on Saturday, Nov. 26 as they hit the turf from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and then from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The players will wrap up the opening weekend with a 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. session. Training camp is free and open to the public.

The team will hold one additional practice session at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena in Six Nations before opening its preseason schedule on Saturday, Dec. 3 at the ILA. The Knighthawks will battle the Buffalo Bandits at 1:00 p.m. The following day, Rochester will entertain another East Division foe when it takes on the New England Black Wolves at noon. The games at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena are closed to the public. The Knighthawks, however, will be sending out updates on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat.

On Saturday, Dec. 10, Rochester will return home to host the Georgia Swarm in a preseason showdown at 8:00 p.m. at Connors & Ferris Field at The Blue Cross Arena. The game will be free for season ticket holders, while general admission seats are priced at $10 for adults and $5 for kids. However, if you bring in a new, unwrapped toy to benefit the Pirate Toy Fund, you will receive a pair of tickets to the game.

Rochester will kick off its 23rd season on Thursday, Dec. 29 when it hosts the Toronto Rock at 7:30 p.m. at Connors & Ferris Field. Season tickets are still available for the 2017 season, which will include seats for the preseason game. To order, please call the Knighthawks Office at (585) 454-4295.
