"It is an extremely painful and difficult situation for his family, friends, coaches and former teammates. Ben was the consummate team player. He always did what was asked of him and put the team before himself. He will be missed."
Desperados Chief Operating Officer Shy Anderson -
"On behalf of the entire Dallas Desperados organization, its players, coaches and staff, we express our deepest sympathy to the Huff family and everyone close to Ben. Our hearts go out to his family and friends."
