Huntsville Stars News Release
Greenville, SC â Despite sunshine at game time, the Stars and G-Braves were rained out on Thursday night due to unplayable conditions at Greenville Municipal Stadium. Rain approximately 90 minutes before the scheduled start left standing water in the outfield. The teams will play a doubleheader Friday night beginning at 5:15 p.m. CT.
In game one, Huntsville sends lefty Luis Martinez (6-4, 2.33) against G-Braves righty Adam Wainwright (5-3, 2.88). In the second, right-hander Pedro Liriano (5-7, 2.48) meets Greenville righty Matt Belisle (4-6, 3.63). The Bill Penney Toyota Pre-game Show starts at 5:00 p.m. CT. Stars baseball can be heard on Jammin' 1550 WLOR, ESPN 1450 WTKI and at www.huntsvillestars.com.
