Greenville, SC - The Stars and G-Braves were cancelled due to rain for the second straight day. The games will not be made up, as this was the final meeting between the teams in the first half. With Birmingham's come-from-behind win over Tennessee, Huntsville is 1/2 game back of the first-place Barons in the Southern League West.
Huntsville resumes play at Joe Davis Stadium on a Fireworks Friday night at 7:05 p.m. against the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx, with a fireworks spectacular presented by Saturn following the game. Stars lefty Luis Martinez (4-2, 1.31) pitches game one of the four-game series.
