Stanley Coveleski to be Honored at Four Winds Field

South Bend, Indiana (April 7, 2014)- Legendary South Bend resident and Major League Baseball Hall of Famer, Stanley Coveleski, to be honored with the unveiling of life size bronze statue. On Tuesday, April 8th at 5:15p.m. inside the center field gate the Silver Hawks will hold an unveiling ceremony that will be led by Silver Hawks' owner, Andrew Berlin.

The magnificent bronze statue of Coveleski was designed and created by Timeless Creation, the same company that created the Michael Jordan statue located outside the United Center in Chicago. The statue sculptors along with Andrew Berlin will be available following the unveiling to answer any questions.

"Tuesday is going to be an exciting day because it signifies the start of another great season, but this Opening Day is going to have even more of a special meaning as we honor Stanley Coveleski with the unveiling of a life size bronze statue. This is going to be an iconic statue that will allow Stanley's memory to live on forever. This has been over a 6 month process and it certainly has been worth the wait." stated Joe Hart, Team President.

The South Bend Silver Hawks are a Class A minor league team affiliated with the Arizona Diamondbacks. The team is owned and operated by Swing-Batter-Swing, LLC whose sole shareholder is Andrew T.
