(Bridgeport, Conn. - May 7, 2012) - Bridgeport Bluefish team officials today announced that pitcher Dan Stange has had his contract purchased by the San Diego Padres organization.
"Dan has shown a lot during his limited time here with us this season," says Bluefish manager Willie Upshaw. "He has a tremendous amount of talent and we wish him the best with his new organization."
Stange appeared in three games for the Bluefish in 2012, posting a solid 2.25 ERA. He allowed three hits and four walks, while striking out six batters over the course of four innings of work.
