Chapple is a 6'1", 215 lb. quarterback from Georgia Southern University and The University of North Alabama. Chapple comes to the Ice after a great senior season, which ended with him being named one of nine finalists for the Harlon Hill Trophy (DII equivalent of the Heisman Trophy). In the final game of his freshman season, Chapple set GSU single-game offensive records in attempts (56) and completions (39); and his 323 passing yards placed him fourth all time on the single game passing list. Chapple will be joining former North Alabama teammate Tommie Westbrook in Colorado; as Westbrook signed with the Ice earlier this offseason.
