The Calgary Stampeders released the following players Saturday morning to reach roster limits for the 2008 Canadian Football League season:

Defensive lineman Hakeem Kashama

Receiver Reggie Williams*

Defensive back Sean Manning

Fullback Jonathan Lapointe

Defensive back Willie Byrd*

Defensive back Milton Collins*

Receiver Greg Hetherington

Receiver James Banks*

Stamps head coach/general manager John Hufnagel will be available to the media at noon today in the club office at McMahon Stadium.
