Stampede closing in on franchise records
The Stampede enter this weekend just one win shy of tying their franchise record for wins in a season with 43 and are just four points shy of tying a franchise record for most points in a season (90). Both records were set back in 2005-06 when the Herd went 43-13-4 and captured the Anderson Cup.
Should the Stampede win both games this weekend they would surpass the franchise record for most wins in a season and tie a franchise record for most points in 60 games, the total number of games that were played during the 2005-06 season. This season, all USHL teams are playing 64 games.
