Stampede Contest Versus Alabama Postponed Due to Inclement Weather
April 28, 2014 - Professional Indoor Football League (PIFL)
Harrisburg Stampede News Release
HARRISBURG, PA (Apr 28, 2014) The Harrisburg Stampede road game, originally scheduled for tonight versus the Alabama Hammers, has been postponed due to current and predicted inclement weather in Huntsville, AL and surrounding areas.
League officials made the call as a safety measure to protect players and coaches of both teams, and fans that planned to attend the game.
"With all of the bad weather that has hit the area, along with what is predicted to come yet, Jeff Knight and I made a decision to postpone the game this evening," said Marques Colston, President/GM of the Stampede. "The risk factors seemed too great for bad weather, and we felt the safest option for our players, coaches, and fans would be to push our game back to a later date."
The game will be rescheduled for Friday June 27th at Von Braun Center in Huntsville, AL.
