Stampede add scoring punch to lineup

Sioux Falls, SD—The Sioux Falls Stampede announced today that they have added more scoring punch to their lineup by acquiring forward Kyle Laughlin (Lock-lin). The 5'11" 195-pound native of Gambrills, MD played eleven games with the Lincoln Stars this season. In that time, Laughlin compiled five points on three goals and two assists. Two of his three goals were game winning goals. Laughlin also recorded a plus/minus rating of plus-1 in his eleven games played.

Kyle is the son of Craig Laughlin who spent nine seasons in the NHL with Washington, Los Angeles and Toronto. In 549 games played, Laughlin complied 364 points on 136 goals and 205 assists. He is currently a TV color commentator for Comcast Sports Net with the Washington Capitals.

(Kyle) Laughlin spent last season with the Chicago Freeze of the North American Hockey League where he complied 31 points (13g, 18a) in 51 games played. Laughlin will join the team for tonight's contest versus the Danville Wings and is expected to see game action. Face-off is 7:05 PM at the Sioux Falls Arena.

To make room for Laughlin, the Stampede released forward Anthony Ciraulo. Ciraulo played 31 games with the Stampede this season, recording seven points on three goals and four assists.
