Stallions to Host First Playoff Game in Franchise History

SAUGERTIES, N.Y. - The Saugerties Stallions will host their first playoff game in franchise history. Saugerties will take on the winner of the game between the Jamestown Tarp Skunks and Geneva Red Wings. First pitch is at 7:05 p.m. at Cantine Field.
The Stallions set a franchise record this season with 27 wins. They finished with a 27-12 record, which was good for second in the PGCBL Eastern Division. Saugerties earned the second-overall seed in the PGCBL playoffs, which guaranteed them a home game and first-round bye.
A win on Saturday night will earn the Stallions a spot in the best-of-three PGCBL Championship series. Game one for that would take place Sunday night, with games two and three on Monday and Tuesday respectively.
