SAUGERTIES, NY - The Saugerties Stallions fall to the Amsterdam Mohawks 16-5 in back-to-back nights.
Saugerties opened scoring in the bottom of the first inning courtesy of two passed balls plating TJ Adams and Brandon Fish.
Amsterdam answered back in the following inning with RBI singles from Hunter Thomas, Gage Miller, and Jacob Hand tallying four runs.
Saugerties responded with two runs of their own courtesy of a Brett Heckert RBI single and a Jahlani Rogers RBI double knotting the game back at 4.
In the third inning, Amsterdam tacked on another two runs followed by a six-run fourth inning that saw eleven different Mohawk hitters come to the plate.
Saugerties will head up to Albany to face the Dutchmen at Keenholts Park in a rematch of Thursday night's season-opener with the first pitch being scheduled for 6:45 PM.
