Saugerties, N.Y.- The Glens Falls Dragons (2-5) beat the Saugerties Stallions (4-4) 8-4 on Wednesday at Cantine Memorial Veterans Field behind Dylan Robinson, who knocked in three runs.
He singled in the first, third, and fifth innings.
Joe Venturino went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the Saugerties Stallions. He singled in the first, third, and fifth innings.
Justin Emmerling brought the heat against the Glens Falls Dragons during his outing. The Glens Falls Dragons managed just three hits off of Emmerling, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his four innings of work.
Alex Yarem recorded the win for the Glens Falls Dragons. He allowed one run over six innings. Yarem struck out two, walked three and gave up seven hits.
Ben Contento ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
