Louisville Fire News Release
It was a little bit less stressful for Louisville Fire WR/DB Tony Stallings on last night's episode of King of the Jungle 2. Last night's episode saw the end of Lang's reign as the King, and ushered in Cherry's reign as King and a chance to shake some things up for the women of the pride.
The challenge on last night's was money related after the pride interacted with a chimpanzee and learned about different monkeys. The remaining nine contestants were divided up into three teams of three. Ironically Stallings was teamed up with Lang, who tried to send him to the Lion's Pit in the last episode. Two members of the team were required to climb a net, and once they got to the top a series of letters were hanging from another set of ropes. The third member of the team was down on the ground asking various questions about different monkeys. The two members of the team on top were then guided to the hanging letters to arrange them as words for the answers.
Stallings' team finished last, but Stallings caught a break when Cherry's team won and her teammates picked her to reign as King. Later in the evening Cherry decided not to do a random drawing and send two people to the Lion's Pit by her own selection. After Henry volunteered to go to the Lion's Pit, Cherry selected Lang to go. Lang was able to defeat Henry in the Pit and survive one more day in the jungle.
King of the Jungle 2 will return next Tuesday at 8:00 P.M. on Animal Planet. In the meantime Stallings and the Fire will travel back to Quad City for a first round playoff game on Saturday night. The game can be heard on 1080-AM WKJK at 8:30 Saturday night with Paul Wilman doing the play-by-play.
