
St. Louis Steamers Kick Off New Season At Savvis Center Tomorrow Afternoon At 1:05

St. Louis, MO - The St. Louis Steamers (0-1) are gearing up to kick off their home opener at Savvis Center tomorrow afternoon beginning at 1:05pm against the Philadelphia Kixx (2-1).
This will be the second consecutive season in which the Steamers will call Savvis Center home and they will do it with new head coach, Omid Namazi, calling his first game from behind the home teams bench. Namazi coached as a visitor with Cleveland last year, but this time will be calling plays for the Steamers.
Last season's player coach, Daryl Doran, has moved into the front office of the club as Vice President of Corporate Sales and Alumni Relations.
This will be the first of 15 home games this season at Savvis Center.
