St. Louis Ambush News Release
St. Charles, Missouri - The St. Louis Ambush travel to the Lone Star State to face the Dallas Sidekicks Saturday evening at 7:00 p.m. CST at the Allen Event Center in Allen, Texas. One of these two teams will post their first win of the 2021 season on Saturday. The Ambush are 0-2, having lost both opening weekend games to the Florida Tropics on January 2 and 3 and the Sidekicks are 0-1 after losing to the Kansas City Comets at home on January 2.
Saturday's contest is the second consecutive home game for Dallas and the third straight road game for the Ambush. The last meeting between these two teams was the final game of the preseason Central Cup Tournament on December 20 at the Family Arena. Dallas came away with a 5-3 win in that match.
Following Saturday's duel, the Ambush close out the month of January with four consecutive home games. The home opener is slated for Saturday, January 16, when the cross-state rival Kansas City Comets come to town for a 7:05 p.m. CST affair at the Family Arena. The balance of the month sees visits from the Tacoma Stars on January 24 and the Florida Tropics on January 29 and 31.
