
Spring break camp to feature new camp program for 2009

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Timbers announced today the club will conduct a special spring break youth soccer camp March 23-26 at PGE Park. Presented by Nike, the Timbers' spring camp is open to boys and girls ages 8-14 of all playing abilities.
Led by select Timbers players and coaches, the spring break camp features professional instruction and a new camp program designed with age-appropriate exercises focusing on technical improvement and building a love of the game.
The spring camp will run from 1-4 p.m. each day. In addition to 12 hours of top-notch instruction, all camp participants receive an official Nike soccer ball and t-shirt and a ticket to the Timbers' home match on May 2 against the Carolina RailHawks. The spring break camp costs $150.

All participants who sign up before March 16 receive free personalization of their camp t-shirt with their name printed on the back. Members of the Jr. Timbers Kids Club receive a $15 discount off the registration fee for the spring camp.
